Every year when my birthday is coming I struggle to find the best idea for my birthday party. I want it to be different every year and my friends to leave happy from the party, and why not talk about it for a while after. In a good way of course. So this year I came up with something totally new: a barbecue birthday party. I foresee something great!
If you have never organized a barbecue, just like me, then join me at planning an awesome party. There are some very important details that can not be neglected. First, where are you going to hold you party?! If you live in a house, things are simple: you have your backyard to keep the best birthday party ever. But if you live in an apartment than you will need to choose a different location because a barbecue implies open space and green grass, right?!
I live in an apartment, therefore my choice: a river bank. The river is near my town so we don’t have to drive to far, and it’s quiet, peaceful and full of fresh air. At least until we will make that barbecue running. Also, because it’s an outdoor party, it’s essential to make sure you will have good weather. You can even delay the party for a bit just to make sure you won’t have rain on that particular day.
But before starting the major planning, take a piece of paper and think about all the stuff you have to buy for your bbq birthday party. It will not be very expensive, but make sure that you will keep to your budget with all the expenses. You don’t have to buy much but there are some ‘musts’ like: meat, water and other drinks, some vegetables to go with the barbecue and bread of course. These are the top elements of your shopping list. I didn’t mention the grill for the barbecue because it’s already implied that you will need one. So don’t forget it at home!
